Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Klipin AI (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Klipin AI is an experimental project built for the HeyGen Multi-modal AI Hackathon (May 2026) and is provided on an as-is basis.

1. The Service

Klipin AI lets you generate AI avatars and AI-generated product videos, and optionally publish those videos to social platforms you connect (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube). The Service relies on third-party APIs to operate.

2. Your account and content

You are responsible for any content you upload (photos, product information, scripts).
You must have the right to use any photo you upload for avatar creation. Do not upload images of other people without their consent.
You retain ownership of content you upload. By using the Service you grant us a limited license to process that content solely to provide the Service to you.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

Create avatars or videos impersonating real people without their consent.
Generate content that is unlawful, deceptive, defamatory, sexually explicit, or harmful to minors.
Generate or publish content that violates the terms of any connected social platform (Instagram Community Guidelines, TikTok Community Guidelines, etc.).
Attempt to reverse-engineer, disrupt, or overload the Service.
Use the Service to send spam or mass-generate misleading content.

4. Social platform connections

When you connect Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, or YouTube, you authorize Klipin AI to act on your behalf only for the scopes shown at the consent screen. You can revoke access at any time from the respective platform's settings.

Content published through Klipin AI is subject to the terms and policies of the destination platform.

5. Third-party services

Klipin AI uses HeyGen, Meta, TikTok, OpenCode Zen, and Cloudflare to operate. By using Klipin AI you agree to the applicable terms of these providers. We are not responsible for the acts or omissions of third-party services.

6. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, KLIPIN AI DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

As a hackathon project, the Service may be unavailable, broken, or discontinued at any time without notice.

7. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, KLIPIN AI AND ITS CREATORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for any reason, including violation of these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time and request deletion per our Data Deletion page.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change.
